Its celebration time everywhere!

Hello Everybody!!

Happy Halloween to all my readers from western world! I have been always curious about this one! It must be fun, right?
Even my country is busy with preparations for our very own festival called Diwali or “The festival of lights!” So its really bright all around me! The sky, Buildings, Houses everything is shining with all sorts of light emitting devices.. the traditional ones as well as modern electronic ones! Lights create so much of Positive energy around you!

Though I am not a religious person but I am always curious how someone came up wih all these festivals and traditions… because they always create “Everything is alright” kinda feeling around you! Creating all positiveness and happiness! Its amazing!

Living in the central area of Pune in Festival time is really great experience! Especially near the crowded streets! You feel you are surrounded by so many people… And I love being surrounded by crowd! quiet places bore me, they represent loneliness, Make you think about all the things you don’t want to think of!

So this positive atmosphere around me is making me feel good and motivated!

In recent time I have been motivated by a no. of things, like all the Ted videos,  Random articles, Conversations, etc…

So I do not know if festivals and religious logics behind them are right or wrong, but other peoples’ belief in them and their efforts behind making these few days of the year good and full of joy does generate a lot of positive energy around me and for a non- believer like me that is simply amazing!

This makes me respect people who believe in something like this, because To believe in something is important and great! We all need to believe in one thing or another.

Just I have too many unanswered “Whys”… Things I believe are different but I guess at some point it is really important to believe that there is something above us… I just feel giving it a name makes things complicated!

Thats it for today!

A dream Job for every guy!

Friends are a great part of my life!

So a day that was spent with them is always a good one!

Saw Gravity today! I must say the Technical team has put in some serious efforts in making this one!

Though for some part the movie feels slow!

The movie was more like a dream than a story!

It showed real meaning of loneliness… So when you are watching it with friends it feels great to have a bunch like that around you!

Because while watching the movie I seriously put myself in Ryan’s place and realized I am too lazy for something like this! Made me feel ashamed of myself and my laziness!

But on the other hand somehow I felt being an Astronaut is such a cool job! Totally Adventurous and you get to brag about that whole your life!
Don’t tell me its very tough because all jobs in the world are tough!

But I like adventurous jobs, I hope my life will lead me to one! Something that involves research, Travel, Reading will do for me! Maybe won’t sound adventures to many! But for me it is!

Today I also learned about a funny job!

They actually have a beauty camera at sports events! The camera has to spot beauties in the crowd and show them to audience at home! What a Job! I mean tell me what guy won’t like to get paid for spotting the beauties in the crowed, Pick the once they like and show it to the world, And even girls later brag about those 2 seconds appearance on TV! So its a win win job! Maybe won’t sound that great! But come on You get to see all games from stadium live and you get paid for stalking beauties in the crowd! 😀

Seriously Whoever has this job, I am coming for you! I am gonna kill you and take over that job! (Joke)

Note : Girls, take it as a funny post. But they actually have something called Beauty Camera!

To the wonder Kids!

The End is coming closer!!!! Day 21 it is!

Today is another day for videos but Today will be more about Football as a good friend has complained I have not written anything about the beautiful game for long time… But there ha not been good to write about, Apart from fact that, There is a Possibility that We are all witnessing a great player in making at Old Trafford, But Writing about him Right now would be too early! So I will Keep it for the Future! A Blog post is reserved in the Name of Adnan Januzaj….

Apart from that, Though I am saying There is nothing to write about, I promise There is a Post coming up about football very soon… in next 9 days for sure… Here is the reason!

After a long search I have found a book that is keeping me engrossed in it! Wanted to finish it off today but I have Manchester United game to watch…

But Reading this book is like living those days from past! Some for the first time some for millionth time!

Thanks to Internet that while reading the book I am actually watching some old games and goals on YouTube! Making it more amazing experience!

The Book is Alex Ferguson : My Autobiography! So once I finish Reading this, I will write about the book… As I see there is need for it, I see a lot of Haters highlighting the Angry quotes towards the players without considering good ones!

Oh yea, I need to do one more thing though I kinda Paid My tribute to VDS in yesterday’s Post, Without realizing today is/was his birthday! So Apparently I am doing a lot of early birthday wishes this month! 😛

Anyways, Happy Birthday to the one of the two best goalkeepers of Ferguson era “Edwin van der Sar” !!!

So today I will share two wonder goals by two United greats… Who just like Adnan came to United at an early age and gave fans wonderful moments like these!

So Hats off to Wonder kids produced at Manchester United!

1. David Beckham :

2. Cristiano Ronaldo :

This Post would be incomplete without these two Legends!

I love these two a lot……. 😀

There ends a very busy day… Definitely a good one!

Getting up early expecting that you will be done with your last viva within an hour or two was of no use!

Though the fact that the via started late actually provided me with more time to study, that too with number of friends around, still it was tiring. But with good friends around it became fun! And I had a fine viva too!

Sometimes, You just feel really blessed to have great bunch of friends!

Okay honestly today I didn’t go through anything that I can share, But I started reading  Sir Alex Ferguson – My autobiography. :D.. Something I want to finish as soon as possible!

I will share just a simple Pic that tells something about Punekars! And that’s something really worth Bragging!

After all We are well known for our Opinions and thoughts… I feels that is because the vast range of interests we have… As the saying goes पुणे तिथे काय उणे! (Sorry I couldn’t think of an English translation what will do justice to the real meaning of this saying! )

The Picture Below Might serve the purpose…

(English Translation) : You are not allowed to enter this city if you don’t have your own opinions regarding every subject!

Want to live these moments once again!!!

Tomorrow I will be giving my last Viva of the semester… Then Diwali! So few good Days…

Today I will share the best moment in my life as a Manchester United fan!!!

I cannot forget staying awake till 3 : 30 in the morning and shouting after the win!

Edwin Van Der Sar A.K.A. VDS I owe you big time for giving me such great moment in my life!!!

You lot are luck today!

Haha! you guys are lucky today because I am happy, I realize I talked about a lot of emotional, Inspirational and serious topics over last few days!
As usual, The reason behind the happiness is Football and Manchester United!

So today I got to see a Comeback, Typical Manchester United way after a long time! The super sub scoring!

Cheers to United strike force…!!!  And I also started reading Alex Ferguson : My Autobiography

This is the time when you realize why you are in love with something…. What a turn around in the game! I am in Love with Football!

So as I am really Happy today! I will leave you all with a cool video! This time its okay if you don’t something to learn in this one! The video is about The greatest pickpocket in the world.. So it would be better if some people just don’t learn anything from it! Still see If you can find something worth learning!

Apollo Robbins: The art of misdirection

Enjoy it as I will direct my self to the Digital Signal Processing books that are waiting for me!

And I again hope nobody gets misdirected after watching this one!

Another day and  I am here again…
Today I am going to share another video… About going closer to death and survival and life after that…

The video is about a Plane, So I am going to pay tribute to someone who was killed in a plane Hijack.. Though the both incidences are different the message I want to share today I is related to both of them.

I wanted to pay this tribute for a Long time… Ever since I saw the story of the hijack on TV last month.

So I am dedicating this post to all survivors and one unfortunate victim  of

Indian Airlines Flight 814 Hijack…

You guys deserve this!

So I will prefer to start with video today!

Ric Elias had a front-row seat on Flight 1549, the plane that crash-landed in the Hudson River in New York in January 2009. What went through his mind when this happened!

So We all see a lot of people unsatisfied with life, Wanting to die rather few even making an attempt for that…

Today I came across another funny conversation on Twitter and as I am very much into WW II mood these days, It made a lot more sense than it would have in any other occasion…

A girl tweeted “seems like every day is a “bad” day”

Here is a reply to this by a guy “seems like every day is a “bad” day” imagine being a Jew during the holocaust.”

How true is that… How rarely do we think about what people have gone through and ho often do we blame life for being bad?

After going through thoughts of survivors  of WW II, I have actually gained a lot of positive energy!

The video is also about the thoughts of someone who saw death way more closer than most of us ever have!

One thing I have learnt from this video or the Steve Jobs one or the WW II survivor’s thoughts is, Apparently death is really great thing, Because It reminds you of why you should be alive…

Doesn’t mean I want to play with my life to get a lesson like this… As I said yesterday sometimes it is better not to know a few things! It seems in such cases it is better to relay on someone else’s experiences to learn things!

So the next time before saying life is really bad with you, Think about the Jews who suffered in WW II, or those who have survived terrorist attacks, And then look at your life… You will feel alive and that will change your way of thinking, It did change mine, Last year at this time I was almost having a thought related to dying every night due to my failure in studies and some other things that happened… It was like a lot of stones being thrown at you at once… So I have spent few months with sleepless nights last year… But today, Though I don’t know yet how my studies are going on but I know I won’t figure it out unless I live and maybe someday even the bad days will get bored of harassing me and go away!!!

Good night!!!

life-is-beautiful

When you realize whats “Growing up …”

Growing up! something we all want to do as kids!
We all have a list of things we want to do when we grow up!
I am not a grown up but I am growing up and when we understand reality of growing up, its Shit…
Seriously my reaction is oh damn its so complicated!

Everything is as complex as the chemistry structures I learnt in college, Still passing chemistry was way easier because we knew structure. Growing up doesn’t have one.
You have a random situation, you have to manage all the bonds on your own (adjust with whatever comes in way)…

Now why am I writing something like this? something so deep!

The festival of Diwali is on the corner…
I was having chat with Aji (my Gran) about it.
While chatting I just asked a simple question!

Why don’t I enjoy it like before?

As a kid Diwali meant a lot… New cloths, Special delicious Food, Fireworks, Making those forts a week earlier with friends!
That used to be Diwali for me… Full of fun…

Now here is how my Diwali is for last few years!

Only thing we all friends do together is to go to Sarasbag for “Padwa Pahat”, Its only for the get together! No intentions of going to the temple or to the musical program that takes place!

New cloths, They are still bought but I am not a shopaholic so I go to one shop Buy what I find good and wrap this part in few minutes.

Food part is also there but nowadays I eat those dishes whenever I want… The fun of waiting for them till Diwali is gone…

Fireworks : I stopped buying them long back… I have decided not to waste money on any kinda smoke! So only Time I enjoy Fireworks is at the Firewire show that takes place in the town every Diwali.

And the part I miss the most, Making those forts with friends! Planning for what you want in your fort.. those failed tries to have water around it.
And at the end, forts never turn out as you planned! Still that hour or 2 hours fun you have with friends while building it is all that matters! Sadly I don’t see many these days! Kids go for the ready made ones… That’s no fun!!!
Now we are old enough not to build them!
But still if I get a chance to do that with my childhood friends I would do it, Without giving a thought about what world thinks!

Apart from this another thing that made me realize I am growing up is my life in general, Aji always says I am lucky and have always got or taken what I wanted!
But I afraid that’s not true! at least not anymore,

As a kid I always had someone going to college staying at our place… I always used to feel how much freedom they have… Used to feel it must be fun to go out with friends for movies and food!

I do go to movies and food nowadays… But many a times something is wrong in life and its hard to enjoy those outing to fullest!

Another thing about growing up is Egos! Fights don’t get solved with few punches or swears and a sorry after that! It takes months to forget or compromise let alone forgiving!

As a kid we ere not aware of a lot of things, But now when we do, I really feel It was better we did not know..

Watching your Idols tuning out to be chits or fake, your friends getting into wrong company or ditching the group for their girlfriends/Boyfriends all this hurts!

But I don’t want to blame life for this change, Maybe I don’t get to be lucky as I used to be! Maybe life wants me to win few things on my own! Though its taking time but I feel I will be fine!
Life will be fine!

But all I miss is being new to this world because sometimes  not knowing everything is better!

Half road covered today!!! Day 15 it is…

So one of my recent interests is World war II.. Though I am curious about WWII ever since I know about WWII… Thanks to BBC for  BBC.History.of.World.War.II series.

I must say it is an amazing series with Original audios, Videos and interviews of the People who were part of it or witnessed the most cruel days of History!

This is the Part of History that has taught the world many lessons and will keep on teaching generations until something like this happens again. Hope it never does because that will result in nothing but Apocalypse.

One of the biggest lesson I have learnt while watching this series is Do not follow someone just because their Personality appeals to you!
Though so far I have seen only 1st bunch of episodes “The Nazis a warning from History”..

The biggest question raised in these 6 episodes was “If Italy was able to take down Mussolini, Why couldn’t Germans take down Hitler?”  If that had happened the war would have stopped earlier and would have caused less damage..

How Hitler reached to fame in Germany is a different subject and I am not a History student to study it thoroughly to comment about it!

But today I read something That was related to this…

very interesting..

Who should be a World Leader among these 3?

Mr A – He had friendship with bad politicians, consults astrologers, two wives, chain smoker, drinks eight to 10 times a day.

Mr B – He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps till noon, used opium in college & drinks whiskey every evening.

Mr C – He is a decorated war hero,a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Be honest and answer this..
.
.
.

.

You would want Mr.C to be be your leader.

Even my answer was same which was made on the basic of the Habits like drinking and smoking…
As even I am very big hater of these things, Mostly smoking!

But..

Mr. A was Franklin Roosevelt!

Mr. B was Winston Churchill!!

&

Mr C Was ADOLF HITLER!!!

Strange but true..

Never judge anyone by his habits !

I am going to be little honest but consider the fact that I am 20 so when I was introduced to WWII I was in school and had little knowledge of Everything…

But I love reading about history… So I read as much as I can…

I always feel the historical writings are many a times biased toward certain party… And sadly in no. of cases some information is intentionally kept hidden or portrayed in a way to show someone as a hero or someone as a villain… So I always search for unbiased or Third Party writings! As Knowing both the sides is important according to me

Like though British people are the winners of WWII and are basically Heroes fr the world, But even they ever busy invading nations one by one for a long time… Indians have experienced it. Rather Hitler looked at British ruling India as an example to be followed!

So as a Third Party and  with all the anger for British people  for what they did to Our country, a lot of Indians find Hitler a good person Plus as mentioned in above extract  his personality also attracts people. Even initially as a person I was attracted to Hitler.. A person who was so patriotic, who hated smoking and drinking does sound attracting then few things about him that he used few ancient and Historic Indian texts to plan his strategies (Though I am searching for some authentic text that supports this.) made him more attractive.Though I never refused to accept what he did was evil.
But I would like to have the qualities mentioned above…
He made few big mistakes in the war.. The way he treated USSR and Italy I don’t think he was to be trusted for Indian independence like many people think..

So yes I once liked Hitler for the personality. Just like it many Germans did back then, It attracts me… But I think He made poor decisions, Had very disorganized and poor Management. No doubt he was cruel, Racist…. And Nobody can support that…

So The first lesson I learnt from my journey into world war so far is Think before you follow someone or Idolize someone…
Recently Lance Armstrong Taught the world same…

A little clarification…

1. I have a lot of German and British readers, I don’t want to hurt your feelings I was talking about History and Both the countries are close to me… Have few great friends there… Sorry if I hurt anyone…

2. To German people, If you find an Indian idolizing Hitler its not for all the cruel things he did but only because We shared same enemy at the time of WW II and Due to few things happening around  here people think they need some Patriotic person as a leader. Which he was. They don’t mean they want Someone cruel like him or don’t mean to hurt you. and somehow the swastika connection is also there. (Hinduism has similar symbol as a auspicious one)… So we never want to offend you!

3. I am still looking for writings related to WW II by Third party author Or Unbiased ones… So suggestions are welcome!

Something that inspires me!

Another Exam Tomorrow, So again I am leaving you all with just 1 video…

This is the best one I have seen on Internet, Maybe almost everybody knows this one!

I watch it like once a week, That’s How much it inspires me…
So If you have seen it before, Watch it again, you won’t regret it!

And if you Have not then Just do watch it before any movie or TV series you are about to watch… I promise You won’t regret…

There is a bunch of businessmen from last few decades,

All they did was Believed in their Ideas and followed their hearts!
Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates are few well known ones..

These people have inspired new generation to work on their Ideas and believe in themselves and follow their heart.
As a result I see a lot of new small start ups being established around me.
Well… That is what I am also looking forward to try sometime later in my life!
I won’t reveal what it is right now.

But these two videos the one I am posting today and the one by Simon Sinak I posted earlier in this 30 days challenge are really inspirational for me!

So here is the best one… It is one of the most watched videos around the globe…

How to live before you die – Steve Jobs

So for everyone who has a dream…. Go for it!!

I will stop for today with few lines from a nice Mumford & Sons Song :

What if I was wrong?
What if I was wrong?
Oh, what if I was wrong?

But hold on to what you believe in the light
When the darkness has robbed you of all your sight
